What does Frekl actually taste like?

Clean, crisp ginger beer with a proper ginger kick. No sugar-syrup heaviness. No weird aftertaste. Just cold, good ginger beer that happens to be better for you.

We come in four flavours — Classic, Finger Lime, Double Ginger, and Cloudy Apple. Classic is your anchor. Double Ginger is for when you mean business. Finger Lime has a citrus lift that makes it unusually hard to put down. Cloudy Apple is for everyone else at the table.

Are Frekl Ginger Beers alcoholic?

No. Frekl is 0% alcohol — safe for the designated driver, the pregnant one, the kids, and anyone who just doesn’t feel like drinking tonight. Good time is the whole point. Alcohol is optional.

How is Frekl so low in calories?

We use a naturally occurring plant based sugar called erythritol — it tastes like sugar, behaves like sugar, and has next to no calories. Your body doesn’t absorb it the same way. That’s it. Found in most of your naturally sweetened drinks on the supermarket shelves, from kombuchas to better for you sodas. 

Are Frekl Ginger Beers gluten free?

Yes! Certified & tested - with nil gluten detected.

Are Frekl Ginger Beers vegan?

Yes. All our drinks are vegan friendly.

Can I use Frekl as a mixer?

Absolutely. Cocktail or mocktail. We're all friends here. Dark and stormy, Moscow mule, whisky ginger — Frekl works hard behind the bar. The clean flavour profile means it doesn’t fight whatever you’re mixing it with. The rum stays rum. The ginger stays ginger. Everyone gets along.

I’m pregnant or breastfeeding — can I drink Frekl?

Frekl is non-alcoholic and was designed by a pregnant-mum (who thought it was a good idea to start a drinks business in her third trimester. She now has a 3yo toddler and business. His favourite flavour is Finger Lime.) So yeah. We reckon you're in safe hands.

Where is your ginger from?

Queensland! Real Australian ginger, pressed into juice and carefully transported down to Victoria.

Where is Frekl made?

Frekl is made in Melbourne, VIC with it's heart in Newcastle, NSW.

How do I get Frekl in my fridge?

Glad you asked. Order right here and we’ll bring it to you. Or use our Find a Frekl to track down your nearest retailer. Either way, your fridge deserves it.

How long does shipping take?

We dispatch within 1–2 business days. Delivery across Australia typically takes 3–7 business days after that, depending where you are. We’ll send you a tracking link so you can watch it make its way to you.

How should I store Frekl?

Somewhere cool and dry before opening. Chill in the fridge before opening.

How do I manage my subscription?
